Introducing the Pitfall item from Animal Crossing! You can throw it at the ground and it will disappear (or bury itself), waiting for an unsuspecting victim to walk across it. When that happens, they’ll fall through and get stuck in the ground! Attack!
You can also just throw the item at them – same effect. Unless of course they’re standing on pass-through floors, in which case they appear to partially fall through before getting stuck.
