Gotta buy ‘em all… or so we assume.

070731fireopal.jpgIt’s a no-brainer that Nintendo will release a third game in the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl series. It’s happened three times before, and it will happen again. Kuefler shares his thoughts on the game’s possibilities at the link below. What will it be named? What might we see in terms of legendaries? We’ve heard speculation on the game being named after the mysterious Giratina, with titles like Opal, Girasol, Garnet, among others. You can head on over to read some of the reasons why.

There’s even speculation on a Pokémon Gold/Silver remake. While I know some of the fans would love to see those games remade, there’s one problem – there’s no need to. With Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, fans of the GBA Pokémon games could catch the then total 386 Pokémon, assuming they went to Nintendo events for the legendary Pokémon (which were also all available). With players able to transfer their GBA Pokémon to the newer DS titles, there’s no need to add a Gold/Silver remake. They can’t, anyway, as some of the Johto gym leaders are currently visiting in Sinnoh!

That's a pile of rubbish. There are many reasons to add a Gold/Silver remake and the main reason is that the batteries in the old Game Boy cartridges are dying. The only Johto Gym Leader visiting Sinnoh is Jasmine. And that's one of the many clues hinting out to a GS remake. There's also been some hidden data too. Watch this vid:
