The Tanooki’s Daily Recap – July 27, 2007

I generally check up on Indy IV news every few days, but I probably hadn’t in a few days as of earlier this evening. Those two Lego Indiana Jones posts prompted me to check both TheRaider.net and IndianaJones.com (the latter of which has been completely revamped) to find out that Karen Allen is indeed returning to the cast of Indiana Jones as Marion Ravenwood.

I’m not really the kind who minds reading spoilers, so I know all there is for fans to know at this point in terms of the upcoming movie’s storyline, characters, all that good stuff. It was pretty much a given that Marion would be involved, but to finally have Karen’s return confirmed (via live video shown at Comic-Con) is fantastic.

The official Indy website has some new on-set and behind-the-scenes videos for you to check out, mostly of filming in New Mexico, New Haven (CT), and Hawaii. If you’re a fan of the series, I suggest you check it out and start getting excited. Indy returns on May 22, 2008.
