I don’t know if you noticed, but I wasn’t here again most of today. This time, it wasn’t because I was sick. Instead, I spent most of the past few Thursdays working with the high school band I help with every summer/fall season. Tonight was their final summer evening practice, where I unveiled the new website I designed for them as well as the marching show logo you see above. What does that mean? It means I’m done prepping all Thursday for a rehearsal and then working at a 6-8pm rehearsal before coming back to work on the site. Unfortunately for The Tanooki, however, that means they start band camp soon.
Matt will also be MIA for a couple of days in the upcoming weeks. I, on the other hand, will be out from 9-5 from July 30 through August 9th. From August 3rd through the 8th, I might actually be gone completely – I’ll be away at their band camp working most of the day. I’ll bring my laptop along in case I have time for night updates, but in all honesty, I probably won’t be done with staff meetings and such until midnight or 1am those days, and I’ll probably be super tired.
So what are we going to do?
We’re looking for help. A few of you who have contacted us through Facebook or e-mails have gotten guidelines on how to apply to become a part of our team. Some of you have looked quite promising so far… but we haven’t received those final applications yet! Get those to us! As for everyone else, general information on becoming a part of the team here at The Tanooki should be hitting the site very soon, so please, be on the lookout for that. We wouldn’t want you all to be in the dark for another two weeks, would we?
