Smash Bros. site updates with Yoshi
I’m getting better at predicting these. I was thinking this morning that we were overdue for a new character profile based on the past frequency. Look what we got!
Yoshi is today’s featured update. Not really much new info on him, but Yoshi-users will be happy to know that our buddy’s Egg Toss move (you know, the one that sucked because it didn’t give him a third jump?) can now help by increasing the distance of Yoshi’s last jump. So it’s like a second-and-a-half jump. Or something.

I’m happy Yoshi doesn’t look retarded like I thought he did in Melee, really nice update on the character model.

I agree with Rink, much better character model.
So someone tell me where the hell Sonic is in Brawl. Seriously, the marketing writes itself if Sega lets him in.

Gershak… Sonic is still just a rumor. Don’t get your hopes up, and honestly, Sonic isn’t going to make the game any better or worse. Brawl is still going to be awesome with or without him! :-D
Brawl will be awesome regardless, but damnit, I’ve wanted him in ever since Snake was announced as the first non-Nintendo character in Brawl.
Seriously, if Snake’s the only non-Nintendo character in, it will feel like such a waste. I’m expecting Sonic, Knights, and a few folks from Capcom like Mega Man and Viewtiful Joe.
For all the other 1000+ characters that aren’t Nintendo that I’d love to see in Brawl (Eggman, Tails, Zero, Jill Valentine, etc.), that’s what the Assist Trophies are for.
Hell, Phoenix Wright would make a F*CKING EPIC AWESOME ASSIST TROPHY!!!!!!!!!
