Have you seen the laughing Wii Sports baby? Apparently, so have about 2 million others. Wired News was able to get a quick interview with the parents of one of the internet’s newest stars, after the video has been shown on YouTube, on late night television, and even during Nintendo’s E3 press conference. Excerpt below.
Wired News: How soon did you upload it to YouTube?
Theo’s Mom: Fairly soon — but not because we were thinking, “hey, look at our amazingly cute baby.” We wanted to include it on our blog so we could show it to our friends and family. It surprised us that it took off, and we weren’t expecting strangers to look at it. There are a lot of babies laughing on YouTube, you know.
Theo’s Dad: Then my cousin e-mailed that she had seen Theo on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Theo’s Mom: And we got a call from Ellen Degeneres’ show asking if we would sign a video release.
