We got some speculation today about Sonic being in Super Smash Bros. Brawl (again), and it seems to be a hot topic among fans of the Smash Bros. series. Should Sonic be in or shouldn’t he? For a while, there were two equal camps: those fiercely against the Blue Blur in the Nintendo fighter, and those dying to see him in it. Lately, it’s gotten to the point where a third, “I used to care, but have gotten so tired of debating that I don’t anymore” perspective has been formed.
I personally want to see him in. Sonic’s what got me into gaming, and I’d love to see him in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, even if he isn’t that good a character. If he’s not in the game, fans are only going to keep demanding another Smash Bros. game where he’s in it, and Iwata will once again have to force Sakurai into making a game against his will.
So, let’s let this post’s comments section serve as a poll. Do you want Sonic in Brawl? Yes or no? Why or why not?
