Maybe you’ll have a reason to use WiiConnect24 after all.
Bandai Namco’s Jin Okubo, producer for the upcoming Soul Calibur Legends, was recently interviewed by Japanese gaming site, ITMedia. The subject at hand was Bandai Namco’s new game, exclusive to the Wii. Okubo was asked whether or not the new game would include downloadable content via the WiiConnect24 feature, to which Okubo responded, “We’re not at a stage where we can discuss it, but we’re looking into it.”
It will be interesting to see what kind of downloads might be available, especially since this game takes the series into the adventure genre for the first time.
