The Tanooki’s Daily Recap – July 19, 2007

Phew. Busy day. Not only did I have a lot to post about today, but I also spent several hours trying to figure out the most seamless way of converting all my old FLAC CD rips into Apple Lossless files for my iTunes and iPod. I’m a music major, been a Beatles fan since I was 3, and have been playing gigs rocking out on my guitar for about a decade now, so it’s no surprise that I’m obsessive enough to want to keep all my music in lossless formats, and take up about 6 times as much space as normal m4a files. Finally figured it out though. Now I can listen to the title song from Go Figure at the quality it was meant to be heard. Too bad my collection now takes up three times the space as my fourth gen. iPod can hold…
