The Office of Film and Classification (OFLC), the Australian equivalent to the ESRB here in the States, has just rated over twenty classic games for upcoming release on the Virtual Console. A number of them are simply TurboGrafx-16 games that Australia is just catching up on. However, many of the titles are completely new entries to the VC, which means that Australia and the rest of the world should expect to see these titles soon.
I normally don’t post about VC games being rated, because they’ll get here when they get here. However, this site has always been and will always be partial to Super Mario Bros. 3 for obvious reasons, and we’ll soon be able to see one of our favorite power-ups on the Virtual Console in the coming weeks.
On a side note, I’m also especially looking forward to Sonic 3. I’ll be all over that download. Check out the entire OFLC-rated list after the break.
