Red Steel 2 confirmed…then denied?
At an event in Cannes, France today, Ubisoft supposedly announced Red Steel 2 for the Wii after months of “no, duh” speculation. The original game was the first game visually revealed for the Wii (assuming you don’t count the Metroid Prime 3 teaser/tech demo) and launched to major hype. Reports had said the sequel would received an overhauled control scheme in regards to sword fighting with the Wii remote. There also existed the possibility for online play.
Ubisoft has since then denied the report, saying that no Red Steel sequel has been confirmed. We know you’re working on one Ubisoft, admit it.
