Alvin and the Chipmunks headed to Wii, DS?
While EB Games no longer hosts the listings, Siliconera noticed entries earlier today for an upcoming multi-platform release. The listings suggested that Alvin and the Chipmunks would be headed to the Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, and PC later this year. There were no specifics on the genre of the game, the specific release date, or whether or not it would be based on the old cartoon from the 1980s.
More likely, if a game does exist, it would tie-in to the upcoming live action/CGI film from 20th Century Fox, tentatively scheduled to hit theaters on December 14th of this year. Once again, the listing has since been taken down.
