A recent report from Nikkei News details that Namco Bandai, Sega, and Capcom had all bet heavily on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable initially. However, due to clear sales performances by the Wii and the Nintendo DS, these companies are expected to shift their focus to the pair of Nintendo platforms, if they haven’t already.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, if you’ve been keeping up with our posts on weekly Japanese sales (posted on Thursdays) and monthly NPD reports for the US and Canada (mid-month). However, it’s always good to hear a reaffirmation that you sided with the right platforms this time around.
