    Let’s all be nice! I understand his complaint, but allow me to explain why we put those plugs.

    We usually plug the forums when the site experiences a good amount of new visitors. So to The Tanooki regulars, these plugs seem to happen often, but they are completely new to the 90,000 or so new visitors from the weekend.

    So we are sorry for the annoyance Kuefler. We will try to keep these plugs to a minimum from now on (during times of extremely high amounts of new visitors). But whenever you see one, be proud that you have been a regular to a site that continues to grow quite rapidly!

    Actually, I usually post about the forums and mailbag whenever we seemingly have nothing to post for several hours, either because I’m going to bed, or because we’re just having an unbelievably slow day. I will continue to do so, because we have readers that check back frequently. Rather than give them nothing new upon their next visit, I’d rather they at least know about the forums and be able to have something to do each time they visit here.
