The latest issue of Nintendo Power has a little quote from Tomonobu Itagaki, creator of the Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, and Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball games. Apparently, he’s got a mad love for the Pikmin.
“Yeah, I’d also like Nintendo to bring out a new Pikmin. [Laughs] I’m a professional when it comes to Pikmin. I know everything there is to know about that game. You go against me head-to-head in Pikmin 2, and I’ll show you who’s boss. [Laughs] I’ve probably played somewhere between 500 and 700 matches.”
I think that’s a challenge. I’d take him on any day.
