The team was announced two weeks ago, and I can’t believe I missed it back then! But if you read the press release from today in the previous post, you might have noticed the following:
Nintendo Street Team: The Nintendo Street Team includes a trailer and two SUVs equipped with all the hottest and upcoming Wii and Nintendo DSâ„¢ games. The Street Team will be touring the country attending fairs and festivals, local events and select NASCAR races all summer long to give people the chance to sample games for both casual players and the hard-core gamer. For a complete calendar of where to find the Nintendo Street Team, visit www.nintendo.com.
From 2002 through 2004, the Nintendo Street Team drove around to major cities in vehicles packed with several LCD TVs inside and a giant HDTV in back, allowing you to try out the latest and hottest GameCube games in style whenever the team stopped by. In addition, the Street Team themselves wore vests equipped with GameCubes and LCD screens attached right onto their body for you to play away from the SUVs, and had several Game Boy Advances tethered for you to try out the latest in handheld games!
