Wario’s profile contains very little information right now, with the most revealing aspect of Wario’s playing style being that, “It’s rumored that this unpredictable character will give birth to a form of martial arts that other characters cannot even see.” What could that mean?
It’s also worth noting that Sakurai introduces Wario, complete with matching WarioWare apparel, by saying that he was included in the game primarily because so many fans requested him in the game when Nintendo polled the world. Now, when I think of characters that would be popular among fan requests, one comes to mind immediately. Does Sakurai’s comment about Wario’s inclusion mean that he and Nintendo would have made any efforts possible to get the most-requested characters into the game?
