Have you downloaded the final version of Opera’s Internet Channel for the Wii yet? If you’re still sitting on the old demo, or don’t have the Internet Channel at all, head to the Wii Shop right now and get it.
As a reminder, the Internet Channel will remain in the WiiWare section of the Wii Shop, but it will only be free through June 30. After this date, anyone downloading the full version for the first time will be asked to pay 500 Wii Points for the browser. I suggest you take advantage of the free offer now while you can even if you’re not sure you’re going to use it. It’s better to delete unused free software later than to have to pay 500 points when you finally realize you want it.
While we’re on the subject, I’d like to mention that while we’re still a small blog, we get a few thousand people visiting this site every day. Of that, several dozen of you always manage to view this site from the Wii’s Internet Channel browser. You know what? Good for you!
