Didn’t we just talk about Pokémon events? Unfortunately for me, this one’s only for those in Japan or traveling to Japan in July.
If you’re not a member of the Pokémon Fan Club yet, join. Once you’re part of the cult club, you can use a form to request the Pokémon Jirachi for your Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl game. Only once you are approved can you then visit any Pokémon Center store in Japan during the July 1-22 period to pick up your legendary Pokémon. If you buy something from the store, you’ll also get one of five free Jirachi badges.
Once I pick up Diamond later this month or next (just so I can start uploading my Pokémon and not have to deal with the upload limit once I get the third game) and beat the game, I’ll be able to upload a Jirachi that came from the Pokémon Colosseum bonus disk. However, if any of our readers are in Japan or are going to Japan in July, know that I would trade heavily for that Japanese Jirachi.
