Educational association grants award Pokémon learning site

Did you know Pokémon had an educational site meant for young students? The Pokémon Learning League allows kids practice and learn new math, science, life skills, and language arts skills! The Association of Educational Publishers has recognized the website’s excellence and saw fit to award the site its annual Distinguished Achievement Award for this year. The award was presented to Pokémon USA last Tuesday the 12th at the AEP Annual Educational Publishing Summit in Washington, D.C.

The website not only allows students to have fun learning with their favorite Pokémon characters, but educators can use the site to customize what content their students focus on at any given time.

“Our team has worked diligently with our educational advisors to develop an instructional product that captures student interest while supporting what they are being taught in the classroom. The recognition that Pokémon Learning League received confirms that its timing and concept matches the elementary market expectations, and that there is a need for a progressive approach that bridges students’ popular interests with pedagogically sound resources for educators.”
– Yves Saada, VP of Interactive Media, Pokémon USA, Inc.
