Olimar & Louie’s Big Adventure
Watch closely, as the adolescent yellow pikmin stands very, very still on the top of a tree trunk. These little guys are know for carrying the rare bomb rocks found in the wild once they mature, and unlike you and me they can take quite an electrical shock before even noticing. Wait a minute… Look there! It has its hand up and hasn’t moved this entire time!
I want these things. It just seems like they’d be so fun to play with by sticking them in outdoor shots and taking pictures. That’s exactly what Gradius did with his new Pikmin toys and D40 camera. He took the creatures from a game inspired by Shigeru Miyamoto’s garden, and put them back into the wild. No garden here, though I think Gradius’ choice of setting is a little more exotic than a home garden.
Maybe next time, we should send those Pikmin to the Amazon! More after the break!
