Smash Bros. site updates with Four Kinds of Control

Now HERE’s an update worth celebrating. Masahiro Sakurai just updated the Smash Bros. blog with the revelation that Super Smash Bros. Brawl can be controlled in several different ways. Just how exactly?

Of the four, Sakurai recommends the GameCube controller, since he loves the feel of the rumble. However, all controllers will provide an equally capable experience, provided you learn the controls.

I guess that puts the big mystery to rest. Well, at least in terms of which controllers work. The only question left is how all the controls are mapped to each controller. Mr. Sakurai claims that if he has time, he’ll explain exactly how the mapping is done, especially with dashes and smash attacks on the Wii remote-only control.

Smash Bros. DOJO!!

I’ll probably stick with the wiimote and nunchuk since it is a wii game, after all.

Agreed, though one of my friends might have to use the classic or cube controllers, since i only have 2 wiimote/nunchuck combinations.
