It seem that Capcom is trying to protect those who buy the upcoming Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition. You know, all those people over 17. Indications from the Japanese version of the game, despite the red sticker warning of mature content, say that a significant portion of blood and gore that was included in the original game has been taken out. In addition, headshots will no longer kill any targets and none of your weapons will be able to shoot off any limbs.
There’s no confirmation yet as to whether this is the case in the North American release of the game, where it will be sold under an “M” rating. It will be released across North America on June 19.
