I don’t know about you all, but this one made me cringe. Sure, the contest is looking for directors, but you’d think they’d try to at least come up with some originality in their films. This one’s pretty much a trailer for a Zelda movie, except it uses poorly clipped music, a Link who’s too tall and has dark brown hair, and lame narration.
Maybe they were just trying to hard? Check after the break for a trailer to another Nintendo Short Cuts entry, which doesn’t overdo the whole “epic” thing.
Matt has been (mostly) absent from the site for quite some time now, but that’s because he’s losing sleep and working on a video entry to the Nintendo Short Cuts contest. We’ve posted this trailer before, but as he’s chiseling away at the final product, I’ll post it again to get you excited.
