You know, now that I’m home from school, I don’t really have classes to go to or too many obligations where I need to get up and go somewhere. Even when I hang out with friends, it’s usually just sitting around in someone’s living room after a while trying to figure out what to do. It’s not as spontaneous as keeping your dorm room door open and inviting pretty much anything to come up and causing you get out of your seat to do something.
So make sure you stay active! Sure, I’ve been playing WiiSports on and off, but I’m not the kind who jumps up and down swinging the tennis racket. And I love playing baseball in real life, but it’s kind of hard to get a team together these days and WiiSports doesn’t exactly have you running bases or hustling to make a catch. WiiSports is good for upper body stuff, so I keep it around.
I decided to dig up Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix. I’ve never been huge on DDR, so it’s the only one I own. Yeah, I’ve heard it’s easy, but oh boy can Bowser’s Castle give you a workout. I’ve managed to finish that level on Very Hard once (it was actually done previously by someone at a party I brought it to), and of course I have yet to beat Super Hard. Regardless, it’s a good way to keep active these days, especially if you don’t want to go outside and do something among the ear-deafening cicadas. If you don’t have the Mario Mix and WiiSports combo, find something to stay active this summer rather than simply work or sit around!
Hottest Party should be good times…
