There have been numerous rumors in the past week (as I expected, following the “secret” second day of the Media Summit) concerning more games for the Wii, and while a good number of them are clearly bogus, there’s one that keeps coming back in various forms.
It’s been said that Mario Kart for the Wii will be unveiled at E3 this year (July 11-13, Nintendo press conference on the 11th), along with possible hardware unveilings of some kind. In response to these rumors, Nintendo Germany’s deputy marketing manager, Patrick Nagel, commented that with some luck we’d see Mario Kart published for the Wii within the year. Could these be one of the other, “bigger” surprises coming this year that Matt Casamassina hinted at?
