So much for a treasure hunt

Disney theme parks were to open a set of DS Download hotspots where park visitors could bring their Nintendo DSs and copies of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End to obtain some nice goodies. I was under the impression that the search for the special hotspots, which could potentially give you rewards like unlimited health, would be part of an interactive hunt. Unfortunately, a DS Fanboy reader has already spotted the download stations, which are highly anti-climactic.

Oh well. Who cares about form? It’s all about function… right?

They look so out of place. I wonder if they are weather protected too?

You know, my mom told me that she wanted to take me to Disney World some time this summer. Since well, I never went as a child (sad, I know). 15 years too late, but whatever…

Anyways, it would have been cool to have a “treasure hunt” for these hotspots, even if I would never buy the game. Ever.

I’m pretty sure the wireless devices are protected well inside some casing.

It’s never too late to go to Disney World. I’ve been to Disneyland twice and Disney World probably 3 or 4 times, and a bunch of us are thinking of doing a road trip during a weekend next spring.

Ive been four years ago, it is quite fantastic though the lines for some of the rides are unbearable. Magic Kingdom is where its at, homes!
