Another Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney game on the way

While we in the west have yet to receive the previous dozen Phoenix Wright games for the Nintendo DS (or GBA, but preferably DS), Capcom is well under way with yet another.

Gyakuten Saiban 4 has sold well over half a million copies in Japan already, prompting Capcom’s president Tsujimoto to reveal Gyakuten Saiban 5 to be in development. It is important to note that Capcom was already planning six Wii games and thirteen Nintendo DS games as part of the Great Third Party Migration over to Nintendo consoles. Gyakuten Saiban 5 merely adds to that list.

I love Capcom and their endless supply of sequels. Have they ever had an extremely successful game that enjoyed a single release?

Great game, but it REALLY didn’t do well sales wise. Well, at least enough for Capcom to bring on a sequel anytime soon.

That and they dissolved their best studio who also made the game :( saddens me so. Okami is by far the best game on the Ps2.

You heard me series of Final Fantasys! You know what you did.
