Arts & Crafts time! – Video game “BitKits”

This vaguely reminds me of these knitting kits my mom used to get for us, where it was a small, maybe 6″x6″ square where you’d take different colored yarn and follow the pattern to create an image, like a yellow duck or a sailboat. Of course, we kids would get bored after about one line, and my mom usually ended up finishing them. Or I guess they also remind me of those lizards made out of beads and thread that everyone used to make it third grade. I still remember how to do those. Hmm…

Phreque.com specializes in selling things like these BitKits, as well as USB NES and SNES controllers. Basically you insert the “bits” into the patterns and melt them together as a picture, which can then be used as a magnet, coasters, paperweight, or even a gift for the upcoming Fathers’ Day (*ahem* just so you don’t forget). You can check out the “how to” guide at the link below, where you can then click a link to see what they have for you to buy.
