For those asking about Nintendo’s moving its sales and marketing departments out of Redmond or on the rumors that Nintendo Power may shut down, this is what you’ll get if you e-mail customer service:
Recently, Nintendo decided to create two new regional offices, one in the San Francisco area, and a smaller office in New York City. The majority of our sales and marketing division will be relocated to the San Francisco area, with a portion of the division relocating to New York. Our main headquarters and the majority of the company will remain in Redmond, WA.
There have been rumors that Nintendo Power may be shut down as part of this change. However, these are just rumors and nothing has been officially announced on this subject. Keep an eye on www.nintendo.com for news and announcements.

Well, at least we know the question of whether or not they’re moving to San Francisco or New York City… they’re moving to both! As for Nintendo Power, well, I wouldn’t be too optimistic anymore.
