Think about it, if they really wanted to add online to this game they would have actually attempted to obtain a wi-fi dev kit. It's well known that Nintendo is having dev kit shortages. However, not getting a wi-fi dev kit is an excuse that's too convenient to pass on. Though the wii and wii dev kit shortages are a little annoying, they shouldn't be used liberally by developers as the perfect excuse for lack of features. Supposedly, the only people actually affected by the lack of dev kits are indie developers which is kind of sad since indie games can be really great, especially on a system as innovative as the wii.

Not getting a wi-fi dev kit from nintendo is a strong, concrete accusation. Don't think you could just randomly blame nintendo on this one.

The problem isn't that Nintendo didn't provide the online system in time. It's that when Midway saw the Wii's success, they wanted to get a half-assed port to market so badly that they didn't bother with adapting it to the Wii's capabilities. Like Far Cry: Vengeance. I mean, it's always easier to blame Nintendo, right?

"Endurance mode in single player, a brand new character, and refined Wii remote controls"

uh... refined Wii remote controls as a consolation? I should hope they would have done that anyway...
