RUMOR: Rock Band to Wii, but at a premium price?
The possibility of Rock Band coming to the Wii has existed ever since it was first announced, but things continue to look promising for future Wii rock out sessions. Earlier today, Gamespot was tipped off by an anonymous reader who attended a recent Harmonix focus group regarding Rock Band. Here are some of the highlights of the session:
- Harmonix is definitely interested in bringing Rock Band to the Wii, but it might be after the 360 and PS3 releases.
- The drum peripheral will feature a kick pedal and actual drum sticks.
- The set list will feature only original artists, so no cover songs!
- Rock Band might cost as much as $200, but possibly as low as $150.
Since this was just a focus group, it is best to leave everything as a rumor, but everything above seems extremely likely. I am super excited for the drum kit, and being able to kick out the jams with a Queens of the Stone Age song is always a plus. Call me excited, but very poor once Guitar Hero and Rock Band hit the Wii later this year (or sometime next year)!

“Rock Band might cost as much as $200, but possible as low as $150″:
For $200, you might as well add $50 and get another wii for your dog.
