Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto talks with Nintendo Dream magazine on his perspective of how the Final Fantasy series has “evolved” or “progressed” through the years, and how things look in terms of bringing more Final Fantasy games to the Nintendo DS, the Wii, and the Virtual Console. The Nintendo DS is already receiving Final Fantasy Tactics A2, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, has received Final Fantasy III, and both the DS and Wii are receiving different, new games in the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series.
In the magazine, Hashimoto discusses what exactly makes up a Final Fantasy game, how the company goes about making entries into the series for the unique DS and Wii platforms, the possibilities of bringing the numbered series games back to Nintendo, and that Nintendo fans should be excited for next month’s Square Enix Party. Head on over to read more highlights.
