Wii would like to see LAN play

Pojo Baon has posted a nice, straightforward article on his blog expressing how the Wii deserves more LAN-enabled gameplay, because the system seems perfect for it. We’ve seen Nintendo stress having a tiny console the last two generations, and yet I don’t think I can recall more than two official LAN games (if anyone can think of any besides Mario Kart and 1080, by all means inform me). The size of the Wii, the wireless capabilities… it all lends itself towards LAN play.

Head on over to the blog link below and give it a read. It provides very logical points as to why LAN games should be a no brainer, and why the Wii should make things much easier to set up, especially if you’ve never done it before.

yea, lan play would be awesome. i’m surprised they didn’t have it for luanch. i mean come on theres some games, that woulda been alot better with a lan option. like dbz budokia 2. playing that split screen just sucks. i really hope they amp up some of the features of the wii. things are starting to make me sad.

not just LAN play, but wireless play…2 Wii consoles should theoretically be able to detect, connect, and play together if they’re in close proximity.
