It seems Nintendo is officially making the Wii available outside Japan, North America, Europe, and Australia. Singapore will finally see the release of the Wii console sometime this week, and the launch package seems to resemble the package released in all other areas outside of Japan. The Wii will come with all necessary cables, a stand, a remote controller, a Nunchuk attachment, and a copy of Wii Sports, all for S$499 /w GST (good service tax). Wii games will be priced at S$79.90 (/w GST), Wii remotes at S$69.90 (/w GST), and Nunchuk and Classic controllers will cost S$39.90 (/w GST).
