If you’re reading this just as I’m posting it, you might still have time to line up at your store of choice to nab a Wii at store opening. Of course, if you read it later, your chances to score a Wii today will be diminishing – if not gone. Luckily, it seems they’re being stocked everywhere, and in healthy numbers.

DigitalSomething confirms that Toys “R” Us will have Wii units available today for list price. The TRU store that DigitalSomething’s Jeremy called claimed that they had 42 Wii consoles ready to be sold for today. Talk about a large shipment!

Coupled with the confirmations that Best Buy would have a minimum of 12 Wii units per store, and Circuit City a minimum of 15 per store, it seems like this is the best chance yet for North Americans to finally get their hands on a Wii if they haven’t already. Keep in mind, however, that we were informed that Circuit City would have Pokémon Diamond & Pearl (for the Nintendo DS) for only $27.99, so take that into account when choosing your destination.
