For those that may have forgotten, the Nintendo World Store will be hosting a launch event party tomorrow celebrating the release of Pok̩mon Diamond and Pearl for the Nintendo DS. Lasting from 1pm Р5pm, the event will allow fans to pick up their copies of the game, allow Pok̩mon Card Game players to challenge each other, and will host entertainment such as a Pok̩ball scavenger hunt and cool prizes like special Pok̩mon Diamond/Pearl-edition DS Lites.

WHAT: Nintendo celebrates the launch of the new Pokémon® Diamond and Pokémon® Pearl games for the hand-held Nintendo DSâ„¢ system with an afternoon of festivities for gamers and Pokémon fans of all ages. These games have already sold millions in Japan, and are expected to be among the top-selling games of the year in the United States. More than 5,000 Pokémon fans are expected to attend this fun-filled event. Rockefeller Plaza will become a Pokémon fan’s paradise with interactive game play stations showing off the brand new games, Trading Card Game play area, a movie lounge featuring the new Pokémon movie, Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, and a special Kids Zone for younger Pokémon fans.
Attendees can be among the first to pick up their pre-ordered copies of Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl at the Nintendo World store, participate in a Poké Ball™ scavenger hunt, take photos with favorite Pokémon costume characters, and win prizes including exclusive Pokémon Nintendo DS Lite units, Pokémon gear and tickets to summer sporting events.
