Dark Link found in Twilight Princess… sort of.

Late last week, a few character models from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess were ripped from the game and uploaded to share with the fans. While many fans were having fun simply putting Link, Midna, and Zelda into their own cinematic visions, a few little details remained under the radar for a while.

Several “secrets” can be found among the character models ripped checked this out:

Whoa! Dark Link? Was Dark Link supposed to be in the game but eventually taken out? Or is he tucked away in some super secret dungeon? Maybe we have link up with Phantom Hourglass or something! Haha, seriously though, it’d be interesting to find out what exactly Dark Link’s character model is doing in the game. Any ideas?

    Yeah that's what they are from, but I feel like every Zelda game needs a Shadow Link battle. TP seemed empty without it, although all the other awesome makes up for it.

    Yeah, its as simple as what was needed for use in the cut scenes. It's also possible this was used for the start key frame of the wolf transformation.
  • yea. thats the exact same thing i was thinking. i think ppl are just jumping to to many conclutions. its probably the links from that little movie sequence that yorule was talking about. they probably just named it dark link, cus obviously it was a dark version of link.

    This is a huge long shot here but it isnt out of the question. What about the pary of the story after you save the last spirit it tells you about the past and how the twilight came into being you know the one where Ilia was falling every where and such? Personally that part really confused me but there there is a sorta evil link in there plus dont forget the 3 link figures who were in shadow in that part to
