Jet Black now developing for Wii and DS

A group of former EA Canada team members have set up camp in Vancouver and are now officially known as “Jet Black.” Among the development staff are individuals who have worked on a number of EA games, such as games in the Need for Speed, FIFA, and James Bond franchises. The developer, for now, is focusing on Nintendo-specific platforms, as they believe it will help them reach the widest audiences. In addition, co-founder and CEO Roger Freddi has made it clear that they want the Jet Black name to be associated with Nintendo.

While we should be able to look forward to great, exclusive content from Jet Black, they are not ready to announce any new games at this time. As a consolation, they revealed that they have created their own game engine technology for use in their own games.
