WiiWii has a great article up, in that it makes it clear while retro games are great and everything, they’re dated and don’t offer fresh experiences. The Wii remote has so much potential, and yet no game for the Wii has really unlocked the potential like it was for the DS nearly a year into its life. The solution? Put new games on the VC. Or launch a new channel specifically for new, downloadable games. Big budget VC games may take a long time to develop and publish, but smaller, simpler games could quite possibly unleash that massive potential that lies in the Wii remote. The PlayStation 3 has flOw, which could very well have been a Wii title. Where’s our “flOw”?
