SimCity DS is based on SimCity 3000, in case you didn’t know already. I remember getting that game – I was in 6th grade and I had loved SimCity 2000 ever since I was exposed to it on the class computer in Ms. Phillips’ 4th grade classroom. I ordered SimCity 3000 once I saw it in the Scholastic Club “catalog” they always handed out back in those days (along with some other books that were popular at the time but couldn’t remember the names now if my life depended on it). I was addicted for weeks.

Don’t know if I’ll be picking the DS version. It does look pretty good, but considering I have the original PC version and a college student’s budget, it may be a while if I ever pick up SimCity DS.
