Last week we reported that Sadness’ original publisher, Frontline Studios, had broken off all ties to the game in what was yet another blow to any hope of Nibris’ concept becoming a reality. Helm Games checked into the matter and now it appears as though Sadness is still in development, even if it lacks a publisher at the moment:
Hi,
First of all – we are waiting for our CO (which has been hospitalized
last week and come back to work tomorrow) with answer to media. But it’s
not super secret – Nibris, the developer of titles such as Sadness
(Wii), Double Bloob (Wii) and ROTR (DS), in connection with essentially
and artistic discrepancy concerning mentioned titles, has decided on
17th march 2007 to end cooperation with Frontline Studios.
Sadness is still in development – we simply have only new dev – partner.
We would like to apologize for rumors and doubts that might arise. We
want to assure, that Nibris ltd. makes great effort to make our projects
completely innovative and meeting highest quality standards.
First results of our works you could see on one of the games fair this year.
Official statement will send to media this week.
All the best,Radek

I am either not used to the way some people talk from across the pond, or this company just loves to confuse me. My patience is running extremely thin with this game. So Nibris, if the rumors prove to be true and this game is actually a hoax, I will personally travel to Poland to yell at you guys. Trust me.
