A new trademark entry was filed by the Sega Corporation for a new video game called Sonic Rush Adventure. The trademark was filed April 2nd, and is in line with Sega’s plan to re-invent the franchise, starting with Sonic and the Secret Rings earlier this year as stated by Sega Europe president, Simon Jeffery. Then again, according to Sega, every year is “Sonic’s year.”
While I imagine a title by this name would end up on the Nintendo DS, I can’t help but think the game has a chance to be retitled. I personally think it’s a bit bland, despite the fact that I liked the titles Sonic Adventure, Sonic Rush, and loved Sonic and the Secret Rings.
