As you should if you have any problems with Nintendo products at all, Stephen Munn contacted Nintendo through e-mail and then phone explaining the problem. After Stephen had heard about Nintendo replacing bugged game discs, a representative confirmed the service to Stephen, explaining the process by which he should go about shipping his Twilight Princess game disc to Nintendo for replacement.
Write a letter explaining how I encountered the issue, along with my name, address, and daytime telephone number, and mail it along with just the game disc (no case) to the following address:

Supposedly, the replacement game disc will also fix your game progress if your current game save is stuck in the same room as a result of the glitch. So, if you haven’t completely restarted your game yet, then there’s still hope to salvage what work you’ve already put into it!
