Sherlock Holmes finds his way onto the DS

Sherlock Holmes: Mystery Of The Mummy, originally a PC game in 2002, is being brought to the Nintendo DS by publisher Frogwares. In the game inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s creation, Holmes must investigate the disappearance of a renowned archaeologist and a valuable mummy as he goes through a giant mansion in Egypt.

From what I hear, however, the PC game wasn’t all that great, so I wouldn’t get your hopes too high. You never know, Frogwares may end up changing things by the game’s release, so it may suck, it may not. I’m hoping, however, that they’ll eventually make a new game around the time the new Sherlock Holmes movie comes out (adaptation or not). You know, blitz the market and bring the icon back into pop culture with a bang.
