In speaking about the newly announced Xbox 360 Elite, John Rodman, a group product manager for the Xbox division of Microsoft, briefly talked about the Wii. Here’s what he had to say:

“We don’t feel like the Wii customer and the Xbox customer are the same thing,” he said. “We think that as soon as the Wii customer turns 14 they want something else.”

Oh, no he didn’t…

    *sigh*

Oh well. At least the people that actually matter in Microsoft praised the Wii in the past.

So that means I shouldn’t have wanted the Wii for the last 11 years huh? Funny how that works.

I don’t really care to have a 360. I wouldn’t turn it down if someone gave it to me, but I’m not about to do any work whatsoever to get one (that means paying for it or doing a “free xbox 360″ website).

Ohh man I just lost some respect for microsoft right there. I mean I have always respected the Xbox and the Xbox 360 I wanted one when it came out but to much money for me, I got an Xbox though but its not working like it should (probably from lack of care and attention) but I still love it and would definently want another one I mean it has some good games on it and its reasonable.
