Word around IGN’s forums is that NGC Magazine has an article published confirming no friend codes will be used in the UK version of Pokémon Battle Revolution. Also of interest is the claim that Nintendo and Square Enix are definitely in talks to bring online games to the Wii without the restricting friend code system.
I can’t confirm this information to be in the magazine, nor can I confirm the information to be true. However, there doesn’t seem to be any argument to the former in the forum topic, and the magazine is supposedly very reliable. Take this as you will.
