Starting April 5th (my sister’s birthday!), Mario Kart DS will be available for the Korean market. As expected, this will be the first DS game in Korea to take advantage of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

With the steadily growing popularity of the Nintendo DS in Korea coupled with their apparent love for online games, hopefully Koreans will pick up enough copies of Mario Kart to let Nintendo they want to keep going online. MMORPGs are huge in Korea, so maybe a demand for them there could mean a game for release everywhere…
