Creator of Ocarina of Time 2D passes away

Richard Denton has passed away. Details are sketchy, but it seems that sometime Wednesday, Richard was unfortunately a part of a fatal car accident.

Richard’s was known by the internet community for his work on one of the better known and more successful attempts at creating a 2D version of a Zelda classic. His Ocarina of Time 2D project, along with the one by Daniel Barras, were probably the two best known attempts at the massive game overhaul. The site’s forum has been replaced with a single topic explaining the tragedy and providing a place for friends to leave their respects.
