In my effort the last few days to catalog all existing and upcoming DS and Wii games to prepare for a massive overhaul to our games listing, I became familiar with a lot of the titles out there, especially those soon to arrive.
SEGA’s arcade classic, Alien Syndrome will be headed to the Wii as a sci-fi shooter/RPG. Players will control Earth Command Trooper Aileen Harding, as they battle aliens and other enemies as they advance through spaceships and onto other worlds. RPG-like character specialization and skill upgrading will be key features in the new game, which includes over 100 types of enemies, 15 sub-bosses, 5 main bosses, 80 weapon types, and hundreds of armor and bonus selections.
The Wii remote will of course provide a precision targeting system for point-and-click accuracy, in addition to being used for other actions. The Wii remote will allow users to create or enhance items and supplies, as well as allow manipulation of abilities and hacking of computers.
